Choose Your SharePoint Sites and Libraries
Choose a small starting scope
Section titled “Choose a small starting scope”List the business task first, then the site and library that hold its files. Confirm the site owner, intended access, and a non-sensitive location for testing. Selecting a library for a workflow does not itself restrict application access to that library.
Record a resource inventory
Section titled “Record a resource inventory”| Site | Library | Business purpose | Owner |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fill in your approved site URL | Fill in the library name | Describe the intended file task | Name the resource owner |
This is a worksheet, not a product configuration or a real tenant record. The verified handoff later adds a Drive ID for each library.
Review the access boundary
Section titled “Review the access boundary”If the application supports Sites.Selected, its site-level grant is a site boundary rather than a per-library restriction. Review Sites.Selected with IT before assuming that unlisted libraries in the same site are excluded.
